About — The strategist behind Elite College Hacker.
I grew up in New Orleans' Lower Ninth Ward, where nobody handed me the hidden curriculum of elite admissions — I had to learn the system from outside it. That is still how I coach: from the applicant's side, with strategy and outcomes, never pretending to be an insider.
I won full rides as an applicant myself — Duke undergraduate, and PhD funding at Yale, UPenn, and UCLA — and for 25 years I've turned that outsider's map into other people's acceptances.
